Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging Florida Construction Estimating for construction estimating services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms govern all estimates, takeoffs, and related services provided by our team.

2. Scope of Services

Florida Construction Estimating provides professional quantity surveys, material takeoffs, and cost estimates based solely on the architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings, specifications, and addendums provided by the client. It is the client's responsibility to provide complete, up-to-date, and legible documentation.

3. Accuracy and Liability

While we apply rigorous methodology, local Florida market pricing, and industry-standard software to ensure high accuracy, construction costs are subject to market volatility. Therefore:

  • Our estimates are professional opinions of probable cost based on the data available at the time of calculation.
  • We do not guarantee that contractors will secure identical pricing for materials or labor.
  • Florida Construction Estimating assumes no liability for bidding errors, cost overruns, omissions resulting from incomplete plans, or losses incurred by the client as a result of using our estimates. The client is responsible for final review and approval of the estimate prior to bid submission.

4. Payment Terms

We provide upfront, flat-fee quotes before beginning work. Unless a separate corporate account agreement is in place:

  • Full payment or a designated deposit is required prior to commencement of work.
  • Payments are non-refundable once the estimating process has begun.

5. Revisions and Addendums

If new addendums or drawing revisions are issued after work has commenced, we will review the changes and notify you of any additional fees required to update the estimate. Minor clarifications may be included at our discretion, but significant scope changes will require a change order.

6. Confidentiality

We treat all client documents as strictly confidential. We will not share your plans, pricing strategies, or proprietary information with competing contractors or third parties.

7. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
